NBA: Miami 107, Portland 100 (OT)

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Miami's LeBron James scored eight of his 44 points in overtime Sunday and the Heat notched their 13th straight road win with a 107-100 decision over Portland.

James canned a pair of 3-pointers and sank two foul shots in the extra frame, finishing the contest 17-of-26 from the field with 13 rebounds and six assists for the Heat, who took their 10th consecutive win overall.

Dwyane Wade poured in 34 points on 15-of-22 shooting with eight rebounds. Chris Bosh added 18 points and eight boards for the victors, who are now three wins shy of the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers' record of 16 consecutive road wins.

LaMarcus Aldridge connected for 31 points, hauled down 14 rebounds and had seven assists for the Trail Blazers, who lost at home against an Eastern Conference opponent for the first time this season after four wins.

Nicolas Batem added 22 points in Portland's loss.
