NHL: Boston 4, Tampa Bay 3

TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Marc Recchi scored on a Boston power play with 19.7 remaining Tuesday, boosting the Bruins to a 4-3 decision over Tampa Bay.

Recchi's goal came with Steven Stamkos off the ice on a boarding penalty and handed the Bruins their fourth win in five contests.

Boston also got tallies from Michael Ryder, Brad Marchand and Steven Kampfer to back Tim Thomas' 31 saves.

The Bolts lost for just the second time in eight games despite a goal each from Stamkos, Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis.
