Patrick Kane and Nick Leddy notched Chicago's other goals.

Blackhawks defenseman Nicklas Hjalmarsson was given a game misconduct in the first period for elbowing Buffalo's Jason Pominville in the head as they were crashing into the boards.

Pominville was carried off the ice on a stretcher and diagnosed with a concussion but wasn't taken to a hospital.

Drew Stafford, Derek Roy and Tim Connolly scored and Miller stopped 26 of 30 shots in Buffalo's setback.
