NBA: Charlotte 113, Chicago 108

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Gerald Wallace poured in 32 points Tuesday to help the Charlotte Hornets hold off the Chicago Bulls and post a 113-108 victory.

Wallace added nine boards while Stephen Jackson and Flip Murray contributed 25 points apiece. Raymond Felton scored 17 for the Bobcats in their third straight win.

Derrick Rose sparked an unsuccessful second-half comeback for Chicago, scoring 16 of his 24 points after halftime. He also distributed nine assists while John Salmons added 19 points and Luol Deng had 18 points and nine rebounds for the Bulls.
