ST. LOUIS, June 29 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum gave up only two hits in a complete game Monday to pitch the San Francisco Giants to a 10-0 shutout of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Lincecum (8-2) allowed a bloop single by Rick Ankiel in the fifth and a double by Albert Pujols in the seventh. The reigning NL Cy Young Award winner struck out eight and didn't walk a batter while pitching his third complete game in his last four starts, and his third career shutout.

Travis Ishikawa hit a three-run homer, Edgar Renteria had three RBI and Juan Uribe had two hits, including a solo homer for San Francisco, which has won four of its last six games.

Starter Brad Thompson (2-4) allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings for the Cardinals, who have lost five of their last six games.
