VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 8 (UPI) -- Roberto Luongo stopped 28 shots and Mats Sundin, Alexander Edler and Kevin Bieksa scored for Vancouver Saturday night in a 3-1 win over San Jose.
The Canucks won their fourth straight game, their eighth out of nine and their 12th out of 14.

The Sharks got a power-play goal from Joe Thornton in their fourth straight loss. Brian Boucher -- still subbing for the injured Evgeni Nabokov -- was credited with 26 saves for San Jose.
Edler opened the scoring for Vancouver at 3:15 of the first period and Sundin scored what turned out to be the decisive goal a little less than 3 minutes later.
