NBA: Golden State 144, New York 127

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson posted 35 points Tuesday and the Golden State Warriors raced to a 144-127 win over the New York Knicks.

Jackson also had 10 assists and six rebounds in the Warriors' best offensive performance in 17 years.

Kelenna Azubuike contributed 22 points and 10 boards, Jamal Crawford added 21 points points and Monta Ellis 17.

The Knicks got 27 points and 11 rebounds from David Lee and 24 points and nine rebounds from Al Harrington.

Knicks forward Tim Thomas left the game with a sore left groin.

The Warriors used a 6-0 spurt late in the third quarter and an 8-2 run to start the fourth period to pull away from the Knicks.
