NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Wilson Chandler and Al Harrington combined for 61 points Sunday, carrying the New York Knicks past the Boston Celtics 100-88.

Chandler scored 31 points and Harrington had 30 in the Knicks' second win in nine games.

David Lee had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Knicks, who broke away with a run that included a slam by Lee, a layup by Jared Jeffries and a three-point play by Chandler in the closing minutes.

Paul Pierce topped the Celtics' scoring with 31 points, adding seven rebounds and four assists.

Ray Allen had 16 points for Boston, which connected on just 40.5 per cent of its field goals.
