Lee moves into women's golf Top 10

PHILADELPHIA, July 7 (UPI) -- Lee Seon-hwa won the NW Arkansas LPGA Championship last weekend and was propelled into the Top 10 of the women's world golf rankings.

The 1-stroke win Sunday by Lee over Meena Lee and Jane Park marked her second LPGA tournament title this year. She won the Ginn Tribute hosted by Annika Sorenstam June 1.

The recent strong play moved Lee up six spots to No. 8 in the latest world rankings.

The top seven spots remained locked in. Lorena Ochoa was No. 1 followed by, in order, Sorenstam, Suzann Pettersen and Paula Creamer. Karrie Webb was fifth, Yani Tseng sixth and Cristie Kerr was seventh.

After Lee came Jeong Jang at ninth and Shin Ji-yai was 10th. Jang was eighth and Shin ninth last week.
