SAN DIEGO, April 25 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum and three relievers combined on a five-hitter Thursday, bringing the San Francisco Giants a 1-0 victory over San Diego.
The Giants managed only four hits, but one of them was a homer by Rich Aurilia in the seventh off hard-luck loser Chris Young (1-2).

Lincecum (4-0) allowed four hits, walked five and struck out nine over 6 1/3. Jack Taschner, Vinnie Chulk and Brian Wilson teamed to allow one hit the rest of the way. Wilson earned his seventh save.
San Diego loaded the bases with one away in the seventh without scoring.
Lincecum lowered his ERA to 1.23.
