TORONTO, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs built a 3-0 lead on goals by Nik Antropov, Alex Steen and Alexei Ponikarovsky in a 4-2 win Saturday over the struggling Buffalo Sabres.
The Leafs managed to win despite being out-shot 28-23.

Jason Blake also scored and Vesa Toskala made 26 saves for Toronto, which has won three straight games.
Daniel Paille and Jochen Hecht scored for Buffalo, which has lost 11 of 12. Ryan Miller had 19 saves.
