NHL: Nashville 4, Anaheim 2

NASHVILLE, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Jordin Tootoo had a goal and an assist Saturday to lead the Nashville Predators past the Anaheim Ducks 4-2.

The goal, Tootoo's sixth of the season, started the scoring at 5:52 of the first period. Later, he assisted on Ryan Suter's fourth goal at 9:46 of the second, when Nashville built a 3-0 advantage.

Alexander Radulov (power play) and Jerred Smithson (shorthanded) also scored once each, and goalie Chris Mason stopped 21 of 23 shots for the Predators, who broke a two-game skid.

The victory came after the Predators were sold Friday for $193 million.

Anaheim got goals from Shane Hindy (unassisted in the second) and Ryan Getzlaf (shorthanded in the third).

Goaltender Jonas Hiller was beaten four times on 33 shots for the Ducks, who had won two in a row.

On the power play, Anaheim went 0 for 4, and the Predators went 1 for 10.
