NHL: Montreal 4, Toronto 3 (SO)

TORONTO, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Andrei Kostsitsyn scored in the fifth round of the shootout Tuesday, delivering the Montreal Canadiens a 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Kostsitsyn skated in on net and snapped a shot between the pads of Vesa Toskala. Jason Blake had the last opportunity for the Maple Leafs, but Carey Price came up with a body save on Blake's wrist shot to seal the win.

Alexei Kovalev scored twice and Guillaume Latendresse also scored for the Canadiens.

Price finished the game with 43 saves and stopped four of five skaters in the shootout.

Mats Sundin, Chad Kilger and Darcy Tucker each scored for the Maple Leafs, who have dropped lost seven of their last eight games. Toskala made 27 saves.
