COL BKB: Kansas 76, Arizona 72 (OT)

LAWRENCE, Kan., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Rodrick Stewart made a go-ahead three-point play in overtime Sunday night as fourth-ranked Kansas beat stubborn Arizona 76-72.

The close contest was tied 40-40 at halftime, and 62-62 at the end of regulation, after Kansas' Mario Chalmers made two free throws with 27 seconds left.

Darrell Arthur led Kansas with 20 points and six rebounds. Brandon Rush had 17 points and eight rebounds, and Chalmers added 14 points and seven assists, as the unbeaten Jayhawks (5-0) improved to 7-3 in the all-time series.

Arizona got 27 points and six rebounds from Chase Budinger. Jerryd Bayless had 19 points, three rebounds and two assists, and was the only other Wildcat besides Budinger to score in double figures as Arizona (3-2) had a modest two-game winning streak snapped.
