NHL: Montreal 7, Boston 4

MONTREAL, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Roman Hamrlik, Mike Komisarek and Alex Kovalev (power play) scored third-period goals Saturday night, as the Montreal Canadiens beat Boston, 7-4.

Guillaume Latendresse scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal at 17:30 of the second.

Saku Koivu (power play), Tom Kostopoulos (shorthanded) and Andrei Kostitsyn (power play) also scored.

Four players had two assists, while goalie Carey Price made 32 saves on 36 shots for the Canadiens, who have won four times in their last six games.

Boston's Glen Murray had two goals and one assist. Zdeno Chara and Marco Sturm scored once each and Marc Savard had three assists. Goaltender Tim Thomas was torched for seven goals on 52 shots, as the Bruins' two-game winning streak ended.

On the power play, Montreal went 3-for-11, and the Bruins were 1-for-6.
