The victory made the native of Guadalajara, Mexico, the tour’s Player of the Year for the second straight year, and made her the first LPGA player ever to pass the $3 million mark.

"I try not to think much about other players," Ochoa said after her seventh win this season, and second straight Samsung title. "I got in the lead, and from there I started feeling a lot more comfortable."

Kim (69) finished 14-under 274.

Angela Park (70) and Jeong Jang (70) shared third place at 13-under 275, while McDonald's LPGA champion Suzann Pettersen (72) was alone in fifth at 12-under 276.
