Park leads the U.S. Women's Open

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C., June 30 (UPI) -- Angela Park shot a 2-under 69 Saturday to take a two-stroke lead after two rounds of the U.S. Women's Open at Southern Pines, N.C.

Park completed a weather-delayed 36 holes at 5-under 137.

Julieta Granada, Ji-Yai Shin and Amy Hung also had 69s Saturday and share second place at 139.

Kraft Nabisco champion Morgan Pressel was at 140 after a second straight 70.

The women's tournament has been delayed several times due to inclement weather, pushing the completion of round two to Saturday. Only 24 players completed their first two rounds Friday, with the rest completing their second round Saturday.

Women's World No. 1 Lorena Ochoa, still looking for her first major title, has had two straight rounds of even-par 71. She shares sixth place at even-par 142 with In Bee Park, Shi Hyun Ahn, Shiho Oyama and Catriona Matthew.
