MLB: Philadelphia 11, Cincinnati 4

PHILADELPHIA, June 26 (UPI) -- Carlos Ruiz went 3-for-4 with four RBI Tuesday as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Cincinnati Reds 11-4.

Chase Utley, Shane Victorino and Ryan Howard each homered for Philadelphia, which has won three of its last four games. Utley finished 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Kyle Kendrick (2-0) rebounded from a poor first inning to hold the Reds to six hits and four runs over six-plus innings.

Homer Bailey (2-1) suffered his first career loss. He lasted only 1 2/3 innings as he gave up six runs on six hits and three walks.

Josh Hamilton and Adam Dunn homered for the Reds, who have lost nine of their last 12 games.
