MLB: Pittsburgh 8, Chi. White Sox 7

PITTSBURGH, June 17 (UPI) -- Xavier Nady snapped a seventh-inning tie with a two-run single Sunday afternoon as the Pittsburgh Pirates edged the Chicago White Sox, 8-7.

Nate McLouth had four RBI for the Pirates, who have won four of their last six games. Jose Bautista added a homer and an RBI double in the victory.

Juan Uribe drove in two runs for Chicago, which has lost 10 of its last 12 games.

The game was tied, 5-5, heading to the bottom of the seventh, but McLouth started the go-ahead rally with a one-out walk from Nick Masset (2-3). Boone Logan replaced Masset and was greeted by a ground-rule double by Adam LaRoche.

Mike MacDougal took over and Nady singled to right-center to score both runners for a 7-5 edge.
