TORONTO, April 27 (UPI) -- Brad Wilkerson and Mark Teixeira both hit two-run homers Friday night as the Texas Rangers beat Toronto, 5-3.
Sammy Sosa added a solo blast, as Texas scored all its runs in the inning.
The homers were hit in successive at-bats against losing pitcher Josh Towers.
All three players had two hits for the Rangers, who broke a three-game losing streak.
Winner Robinson Tejada (3-1) yielded three earned runs and five hits in 5 1/3 innings, with one walk and seven strikeouts.
Akinori Otsuka recorded his third save of the season.
Lyle Overbay hit a solo homer and Adam Lind added a two-run shot for the Blue Jays, who had only five hits and had a three-game winning streak snapped.
Towers (1-3) gave up five earned runs and five hits in 4 2/3 innings, with no walks and seven strikeouts.
