MLB: Chi. White Sox 6, Cleveland 4

CLEVELAND, April 14 (UPI) -- Juan Uribe and Jermaine Dye hit home runs Friday night to help the Chicago White Sox beat Cleveland, 6-4.

The game was the first real home contest for the Indians, who had relocated to Milwaukee's Miller Field for four games because of snow.

Uribe went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and four RBI; Dye was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer; and Joe Crede had a run and three hits for the White Sox, who have won three of their last four games.

Winner Javier Vazquez (2-0) scattered two earned runs and eight hits over 5 1/3 innings.

Bobby Jenks earned his third save.

Jhonny Peralta was 2-for-4 with an RBI; Ryan Garko was 4-for-5 with two runs scored; while Andy Marte, Travis Hafner and Josh Barfield also drove in a run each for the Indians, who have split their last four games.

The loser was Fausto Carmona (0-1).
