MEMPHIS, March 12 (UPI) -- Vince Carter scored 30 points and pulled down 10 rebounds Monday to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 113-102 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Mikki Moore added 24 points for the Nets, who ended a five-game losing streak and moved within one-half game of the New York Knicks for the final playoff spot in the NBA Eastern Conference.

Richard Jefferson scored 18 points for New Jersey.

Pau Gasol scored 19 points and had seven rebounds to lead the Grizzlies, who have lost of its last eight games and 10 of its last 12. Rudy Gay and Chucky Atkins each had 17 points for Memphis.
