NBA: Atlanta 106, Memphis 105

ATLANTA, March 10 (UPI) -- Josh Smith had 20 points, nine rebounds, and two assists Friday night to guide Atlanta over the Memphis Grizzlies, 106-105.

His effort included a go-ahead three-point play with 11.5 seconds left.

Atlanta won the contest despite blowing a 60-50 halftime advantage.

Josh Childress had 17 points, three rebounds, and two steals; Marvin Williams totaled 17 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals; while Tyronn Lue, Zaza Pachulia and Shelden Williams all scored 11 points for Atlanta, which played its second straight game without leading scorer Joe Johnson (calf injury).

The Hawks have split their last four games.

Mike Miller scored 22 of his 29 points in the second half to lead Memphis.

Rudy Gay had 15 points and six rebounds, but six turnovers; Stromile Swift had 15 points and 13 rebounds; and Pao Gasol had 10 points and four rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have a six-game losing streak.
