LOS ANGELES, March 1 (UPI) -- Elton Brand had 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists Wednesday night, as the Los Angeles Clippers beat Seattle, 96-91.

Rashard Lewis scored 21 points, Ray Allen and Earl Watson each had 19 and Chris Wilcox scored 13 for the SuperSonics, who lost for the third time in their last four games.

The Clippers led, 91-89, with 46.1 seconds left when Allen tied it with lay-up. After Maggette hit two free throws to put the Clippers back on top, Seattle turned the ball over on its next possession -- and never threatened the rest of the way.
