NBA: Orlando 91, Portland 89

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Grant Hill scored 16 points and made a lay-up with .3 seconds left Friday night as the Orlando Magic beat Portland, 91-89, for their sixth straight win.

Hill's two free throws with 29.7 left tied the game at 89-89. Portland was playing for the last shot when Sergio Rodriguez missed everything on a runner and Portland got the ball with 1.2 seconds left.

Hedo Turkoglu passed inbounds to Hill, who got a screen from Jameer Nelson and cut between two Trail Blazers for an easy lay-up.

Dwight Howard finished with 18 points and 16 rebounds for Orlando. Turkoglu scored 13 and Darko Milicic, Trevor Ariza and Keyon Dooling each had 10 for the Magic.

Zach Randolph had 28 points and 13 rebounds for Portland. Jarrett Jack scored 14 points and Travis Outlaw had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who lost their fourth straight.

Orlando went 49.3 percent from the field on 37-of-75 shooting, while Portland shot 41 percent on 32-of-78.
