KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Ryan Shealy hit two homers and drove in five runs Thursday night as Kansas City beat the Seattle Mariners, 10-8, for their third straight win.
Estaban German had one run, three hits and three RBI; Emil Brown hit an RBI single and scored twice; Shane Costa had two hits; and Mark Grudzielanek had a run and three hits for the Royals (57-90), who have six wins in their last 10 games.
Winner Odalis Perez (2-3) yielded six runs and 10 hits in five innings.
Ichiro Suzuki hit a two-run homer; Adrian Beltre hit a solo shot; both had three hits and three RBI; Yuniesky Betancourt had a hit and scored twice; Richie Sexson hit an RBI single; Willie Bloomquist scored twice; and Raul Ibanez had two hits for the Mariners (69-77), who have lost four of their last five games.
Loser Jarrod Washburn (8-14) allowed six runs and 10 hits in 4 1/3 innings.
