Runner-up Lorena Ochoa shot a closing 6-under 66 to end at 20-under 272.

"It was an incredible day," said the Swedish native Sorenstam, who is also the event's host. "The finish was like a fairytale. To come here at home, to play with Lorena in the last group head-to-head and in tough conditions, but to play like it was the best day ever, it doesn't get much better than that."

Norway's Suzann Pettersen (68) was alone in third at 16-under 276. Gwladys Nocera of France took fourth at 12-under 280.

Catriona Matthew (71) of Scotland and England's Laura Davies (71) shared fifth place at 10-under 282.
