STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Annika Sorenstam and Lorena Ochoa remained tied for the lead Saturday after three rounds of the Scandinavian TPC Golf Tournament in Sweden.
Both players, taking a break from the LPGA Tour in the United States to compete on the women's European Tour, shot 3-under-par 69 in the third round and are 13-under 206 through 54 holes.
"My round was definitely more up and down and that's the way my season has been -- up and down," Sorenstam said. "Lorena has been playing very solid. I love the way she's driving the ball, it's very consistent."
Norway's Suzann Pettersen (68) is alone in third place, two shots back at 11-under 208.
Gwladys Nocera (71) of France is fourth at 10-under 209; with England's Laura Davies (66); Catriona Matthew (67) of Scotland; and Italy's Veronica Zorzi (70) tied for fifth place at 8-under 211.
