NHL: San Jose 2, Chicago 1

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- San Jose's Vesa Toskala came up with 29 saves in goal as the Sharks edged the visiting Chicago Blackhawks, 2-1, Wednesday night.

Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton both scored for the Sharks, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Kyle Calder had the lone goal for Chicago, which has dropped four of five. Craig Anderson stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced in the loss.
