NBA: Detroit 102, L.A. Lakers 93

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Rasheed Wallace had 24 points and eight rebounds Sunday as Detroit beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 102-93, for its 11th straight win.

Richard Hamilton added 20 points and three assists; Tayshaun Prince had 19 points, three rebounds, two steals and six assists; Ben Wallace had 14 points and 13 rebounds; and Chauncey Billups had 10 points, six assists and four rebounds for the Pistons (37-5), who also won 11 games in a row last March 30-April 19. The Pistons improved to 20-2 at home this season.

Kobe Bryant had 39 points, six rebounds and three assists; Chris Mihm added 16 points and 14 rebounds; and Smush Parker had nine points, five rebounds and two steals for the Lakers (23-20), who had a modest two-game winning streak broken.

The Lakers, who trailed by nine points at halftime, out-rebounded the Pistons, 46-44.
