NBA: Detroit 114, Charlotte 91

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Richard Hamilton had 19 points to lead Detroit's balanced scoring attack Saturday as the Pistons posted a 114-91 win over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Maurice Evans had a career-high 18 points for Detroit, which had seven players score in double figures. Tayshaun Prince and Antonio McDyess each added 16 points and Chauncey Billups had 13 for the Pistons, who have won 14 of their last 16 games.

Rasheed Wallace scored 12 points and Ben Wallace had 10 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots, as Detroit earned its 29th win against only five losses this season.

Primoz Brezec had 18 points to lead Charlotte, which suffered its third straight loss. Gerald Wallace added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Bobcats, who have lost seven of their last eight games.
