TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Michael Pittman rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown Sunday as Tampa Bay beat the Miami Dolphins, 27-13.
Brian Griese was 12-of-16 passing for 120 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. His replacement, Chris Simms, went 6-for-10 for 69 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.
Joey Galloway had nine receptions for 96 yards and one touchdown, Earnest Graham added 50 yards on 17 carries as the Buccaneers improved to 5-1.
Gus Frerotte was 21-of-43 for 267 yards, with no interceptions or touchdowns. He had a fumble returned 33 yards for a touchdown. Will Allen scored the touchdown for Tampa Bay.
Miami running back Ricky Williams, returning from a four-game drug suspension, rushed for eight yards on five carries. He also had six receptions for 22 yards.
The Dolphins fell to 2-3.
