Kim builds lead to four shots

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Christina Kim shot a 6-under 66 Friday to move four shots in front after two rounds of the State Farm Classic.

Kim equaled the course record Thursday with a 62 and her 16-under total of 128 after 36 holes smashed the old tournament record by three shots.

"I just know it could have been better," said Kim. "I was not really feeling anything today. I just hit ball after ball."

Cristie Kerr missed matching the course record by a single shot Friday and her 63 left her alone in second at 132.

Jennifer Rosales, who held the 54-hole lead at the U.S. Women's Open this year, was at 133 following a 65 and Suzann Pettersen was fourth at 134.

Lorena Ochoa, winner last week at the Wachovia LPGA Classic, whared fifth place at 135 with Mikaela Parmlid, Chris Johnson and Hee-Won Han.
