RAMALLAH, Israel, March 21 (UPI) -- U.S. President Obama has a restricted bilateral meeting Thursday with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, Israel, the White House said.
The daily schedule indicates Obama will:
-- Visit the Israel Museum in Jerusalem to view the Dead Sea Scrolls and view a technology exposition.
-- Travel to the Muqata Residential Compound in Ramallah to take part in an official arrival ceremony and meet with Abbas. Abbas and Obama will have a news conference after a working lunch.
-- Travel to the Al-Bireh Youth Development and Resource Center where he and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyed will observe a dance performance and take part in a roundtable with Palestinian youth.
-- Return to Jerusalem where he will deliver remarks to the Israeli people at the Jerusalem International Convention Center.
-- Meet with U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv and U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem staff at the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem.
-- Attend a dinner hosted by Israeli President Shimon Peres at the president's residence.
-- Remain overnight in Jerusalem.
