Dec. 2 (UPI) -- The California Highway Patrol said a tanker truck went over a highway guardrail and ended up spilling its load of 6,000 gallons of condensed milk.

No injuries were reported when the tanker went over the side of 5 Freeway in Lebec about 4:45 a.m. Monday and ended up 75 feet down an embankment.

The California Department of Transportation said two lanes on the southbound side of the freeway would be closed while crews responded to the scene to pump the spilled milk and repair the guardrail.

The cause of the crash was unclear.
