The Shy Wolf Sanctuary in Naples said Eva, a wolf-dog hybrid, escaped about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and was shot with a tranquilizer dart just over an hour later, but managed to flee the area before being slowed by the sedative. Eva jumped a 10-foot fence to escape from the sanctuary, officials said. They said she is now being kept in a more secure enclosure to prevent a repeat escape.
