Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe May 15 (UPI) -- Indiana State Police said traffic on a highway near the Illinois border was congested when a semi hauling 41,000 pounds of honey overturned. Investigators said the semi's front axle broke about 6 a.m. Wednesday and the driver lost control of the vehicle, which overturned in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80/94 at Calumet Avenue. Advertisement Police said the truck was leaking honey and diesel fuel. A trooper told WGN-TV the clean-up operation was being slowed "because of gawkers." The driver was not injured.
