Cape buffalo with horns locked together rescued with a shove

May 30 (UPI) -- A safari-goer in South Africa captured video of two buffalo with their horns locked together being saved by a shove from a third buffalo.

The video, recorded May 23 in Kruger National Park, shows a pair of cape buffalo with their horns entangled together standing with their herd.

"The looked miserable," the filmer wrote.

The video shows a third buffalo approach the pair and separate them with a solid shove.

"Unbelievable. Who knows how long they've been stuck like this," the filmer says in the footage.
