The video, recorded Saturday in Strathmerton, Victoria, shows the koala investigating a fishing pole that had been left unattended in a stand on the shore of the Murray River. Advertisement The video shows the koala grip the rod with its hands as if it was fishing like a human. "Catch anything today, mate?" the filmer asks the marsupial. "Just another day in Australia." "While fishing along the Murray River a friendly koala joint our family for a fish. It sat itself on the rod holder, grasped the rod in its hands and went fishing for 2-3hours.
