LOL they don't— Carl's Jr. (@CarlsJr) September 13, 2017 Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Fast food chain Carl's Jr. attempted to insult rival chain Wendy's on Twitter, but the attempt backfired spectacularly when Wendy's clapped back. The Twitter spat began innocently on Tuesday, with user Andrew Morgan posing a simple question that tagged both fast food chains' official accounts. Wendy's didn't respond until more than 12 hours later, pointing out how Carl's Jr.'s fans had apparently failed to take notice of the tweet, which at that point had drawn no likes or retweets.Yeah, for one, if we were going to diss another restaurant we'd have more than zero likes and RTs after 13 hours. https://t.co/VUDXEHKqEB— Wendy's (@Wendys) September 13, 2017 "Yeah, for one, if we were going to diss another restaurant we'd have more than zero likes and RTs after 13 hours," Wendy's tweeted.
