ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., June 16 (UPI) -- A Chicago-area teen earned a standing ovation for his eighth grade graduation speech featuring impressions of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and others.

Jack Aiello, a budding impressionist with an interest in politics, worked his impressions of presumptive Republican nominee Trump; presumptive Democratic nominee Clinton; Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas; President Barack Obama; and Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vt., into his June 6 graduation speech at Thomas Middle School in Arlington Heights.

"Politics has been something he's been interested in for several years," John Aiello, the boy's father, told ABC News. "He's always been good with impressions, so while watching along with his mom and I, he picked up phrases and mannerisms of the candidates."

"He started with impressions of his parents of course," John said. "He then moved on to teachers at school and it developed to the point where he's very good at picking up mannerisms and tones."
