Group recreates 'Mario Kart' video game at UK mall

LONDON, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- A group of base jumpers from the UK recreated the Nintendo video game Mario Kart at a local mall.

The group known as Base37 rode mini go-carts around the mall while dressed as characters from the game, including the eponymous Mario, Luigi, Wario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Bowser and Yoshi.

"The other day we got dressed up as all the Mario Kart characters and raced through Westfield Shopping Mall, on crazy carts, uninvited!" they wrote on Facebook.

The group weaved through the mall before taking a ride on the elevator and making their way through the parking garage.
