Jacob Sempler, a creative designer at Swedish advertising agency Animal, worked on the site after Animal employees discovered the domain name was available and sought to make use of it.
"It seems like a lot of people in Sweden are following American politics," Sempler told The Local. "Obviously Swedes can't vote in the election, so creating this site became our vote; it's our way of commenting on the election."
The site features a counter in the bottom right corner that indicates the virtual trumpet has been blown in Trump's face more then 8 million times since its launch.
Sempler added that perfecting the movement of Trump's hair was a complex process that contributed to the length of the site's development time.
