Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Game of Thrones star Lena Headey is weighing in on new photos of the cast. The 45-year-old British actress discussed new images of her character, Cersei Lannister, during Monday's episode of Good Morning America.
Game of Thrones shared new photos of Cersei, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and other characters last week. One features Cersei standing at the top of a staircase, while the other shows the queen with an emotional look.
"It's nuts," Headey said of fan reaction. "Anything you post, anything, people are like, 'Oh! With a piece of pizza?' I'm like, 'It's only a piece of pizza! Like, that really is a piece of pizza.'"
"But also, at Sundance [Film Festival], I think they were asking me about it," she said of the stairs photo. "I kept saying, 'I go up some stairs... and I come down some stairs.'"
Headey said the other picture may feature Cersei with her brother Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).
"I'm either looking at Peter or I'm thinking, 'Should I go down those stairs?'" she teased.
Game of Thrones will return for an eighth and final season April 14 on HBO. Headey reacted to the show ending during the interview.
"I know, it's the end. It's the eighth season, which is bonkers," the star said.
"I feel totally chuffed -- do I need to translate that? It just means really happy -- to have been part of something like that for so long. I think everyone's ready to kind of do new stuff. But I think until it's over-over, I won't know how I feel," she added.
"Until it's over, I don't know how I'll really feel." @IAMLenaHeadey says it will be a bittersweet ending to @GameOfThrones. https://t.co/W1vUNMab63 pic.twitter.com/K1P3n9ucos

Harington shared similar sentiments about Game of Thrones in an interview with Today last week, saying he will "always" love the fantasy drama.
