'Black Mirror' Season 4 gets a trailer and debut date

Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Netflix released a new trailer for Black Mirror Season 4 Wednesday.

The streaming service also announced Dec. 29 as the return date for the show it describes as an "anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world."

Netflix's 2-minute teaser is a montage of clips from the six, new, stand-alone episodes variously featuring Jesse Plemons, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jimmi Simpson, Cristin Milioti, Aldis Hodge, Maxine Peake, Andrea Riseborough, Letitia Wright, Michaela Coel and other stars.

Jodie Foster, Toby Haynes, John Hillcoat, Colm McCarthy, Tim Van Patten and David Slade are the directors of the Season 4 episodes.
