NEW YORK, May 10 (UPI) -- Wilmer Valderrama will perform the Backstreet Boys on Thursday's episode of Lip Sync Battle.

The Spike TV series released a clip of the 36-year-old actor singing and dancing with a host of backup dancers to the boy band's hit song "Everybody."

Valderrama donned an open white shirt and pants and vest combo similar to the outfit Backstreet Boys singer A.J. McLean wears in the "Everybody" music video. The music video takes place in a haunted mansion.

Valderrama will compete against Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez, whom he honored at the unite4:humanity gala in February. The series has yet to preview the 31-year-old actress' performance.

"Everybody" appears on the Backstreet Boys' self-titled debut album, which was released in the U.S. in 1997. The song peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won Best Group Video at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards.

Backstreet Boys members A.J. McLean and Nick Carter appeared on the Feb. 25 episode of Lip Sync Battle to help Gigi Hadid perform their song "Larger Than Life." The model won her battle against Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey.
