LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- AMC will be the home of a new late-night talk show covering pop-culture from a fanboy perspective hosted by Kevin Smith and Greg Grunberg.

Currently titled Geeking Out, the show is anticipated for a late July season premiere as it covers San Diego's annual Comic Con. It will run eight more weekly episodes following its debut, Deadline reports.

"Kevin and Greg are both true fans of this content and share a deep passion for talking about it and engaging other fans about it," AMC Original Programming and Development President Joel Stillerman said in a statement.

"But it is their natural chemistry as hosts that really brings this idea together. As part of our growing non-fiction slate, we wanted to create a broadly entertaining venue for hardcore fans and general viewers where we can break down all things fanboy on a weekly basis, and we wanted to bring those fans great interviews and exclusive looks into the world of fanboy culture."

Geeking Out, working title, joins the network's budding talk shows like Talking Dead and Comic Book Men.
