Wanda Sykes, Ken Marino to guest star on 'House of Lies'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Emmy Award-winning comedian Wanda Sykes has signed on to guest star on Season 5 of House of Lies, Showtime said.

She will play Wanda, a love interest for Jeremiah, who is played by Glynn Turman, and a confidante for Marty, played by Don Cheadle.

Also booked to appear on the small-screen comedy in the upcoming season are Nicky Whelan and Ken Marino.

Whelan will play Klare, Marty's girlfriend.

Marino previously co-starred with House of Lies lead Kristen Bell on Veronica Mars. He will now play her character Jeannie's potential beau Mark.

Production on the new season starts this month for premiere on Showtime and its digital platforms in 2016.
