Chloe Sevigny returning as regular to 'American Horror Story'

Sevigny played a nymphomaniac named Shelley in the second season of the anthology.

LOS ANGELES, March 24 (UPI) -- Actress Chloe Sevigny is returning to Ryan Murphy's anthology American Horror Story.

The series creator and executive producer announced the news in a tweet on Tuesday.

The next and fifth installment of AHS, Hotel, will also star Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga. This will be the first season of the franchise without star Jessica Lange.

Sevigny, 40, last worked with Murphy in the second iteration of the show, where she played a nymphomaniac named Shelley. The actress is best known for her roles in Kids,The Brown Bunny and Boys Don't Cry and last starred in the crime drama Electric Slide.
