NEW YORK, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Lea Michele threw up while singing "Let It Go" for Glee.

The 28-year-old actress admitted to doing so in an interview Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Michele recalled the experience for host Jimmy Kimmel, and said the incident was caught on slow-motion video.

"The day didn't start off so well," she related. "I was singing, there was snow falling. I looked up, trying to make it magical and beautiful, and ended up choking on the snow and vomiting."

Michele performed the song as Rachel Berry on the season six premiere of the Fox series. Idina Menzel, who portrays Rachel's birth mother Shelby, originally sang "Let It Go" as Queen Elsa in Disney movie Frozen.

Glee is in the midst of a sixth and final season, and Michele will next star with Keke Palmer on Fox series Scream Queens. The actress caused a fuss when she posted a photograph with short hair on the Glee set Tuesday, but the bob was later revealed to be a wig.
